Established in May 2019, the International Joint Research Center for Molecular Science relies on the College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, Shenzhen University, and leverages high-quality international academic intellectual resources of the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry of Nanyang Technological University, etc. Based on the rescores of Shenzhen University and financial supports from local and national government, the center conducts cutting-edge molecular scientific research and industrial application-oriented technology research, promotes the first-class discipline construction of Shenzhen University, the construction of high-level universities and the connotative development of the University, promotes doctoral programs in the first-level discipline of chemistry, and finally help the development of Shenzhen's high-tech industry. The long-term goal of the center is to build an International Joint Laboratory on Molecular Science of China's Ministry of Education.
